Complaining works.
"works fine on my machine" people in shambles, again.
Probably they not want people know it was 5 years with such issue.Should we put the fix in our patch notes? Nah, let's let DF know so they can tweet about it.
Bizarre communication sometimes.
Pretty sure it was introduced around the time the Pro launched or shortly after.Probably they not want people know it was 5 years with such issue.
The percentage of owners that even knew this was an issue is probably less than .1 percent of total PS5 owners. No need to pull out the megaphone and cause hysteria since it's such a small niche crowd you're addressing.Should we put the fix in our patch notes? Nah, let's let DF know so they can tweet about it.

I wouldn't be surprise if I was right knowing them.Pretty sure it was introduced around the time the Pro launched or shortly after.
The people that know about it are probably the same people who actually bother to read the patch notes. The percentage of owners that even knew this was an issue is probably less than .1 percent of total PS5 owners. No need to pull out the megaphone and cause hysteria since it's such a small niche crowd you're addressing.
These people are the worst gamers.Complaining works.

I think they did it like this to avoid making the problem a problem.Should we put the fix in our patch notes? Nah, let's let DF know so they can tweet about it.

Because sony communication is an embarrassment.Doesn't make any sense as to why Sony didn't tell anyone about the fix.
One person has to notice and then tell df. Then, df has to comment so that people can realize what theyre supposed to see and think. I guess nobody noticedI wouldn't be surprise if I was right knowing them.
Probably they not want people know it was 5 years with such issue.
You're not though.I wouldn't be surprise if I was right knowing them.
This. There is no reason why 30fps/60fps games shouldn't be playing in 120hz containerCool, now let's all bitch enough that they put system wide 120hz and LFC support too. That's still missing.
You're not though.
Isn't Freesync already implemented as part of the HDMI standard?I'd say they had "decent" turn around time on fixing this given the previous firmware update that released in May was probably feature locked before this DF video came out.
I will say though given how long it took them to fix this, I think we probably have to give up hope that they're going to implement AMD Freesync.
That's why I'm saying probably is like this from launch. I often noticed bizzarre behavior in VRR on ps5, especially without LFC. Nothing major but still.99.9% of people didn't notice any issue anyway![]()
Pro launch. That's why I'm saying probably is like this from launch. I often noticed bizzarre behavior in VRR on ps5, never was flawless from my personal experience. Nothing major but still.
I like to know what make some of you so sure about it. Games without LFC were always problematic for me, anyway. Well maybe problematic it's an exaggeration.Pro launch.
People have VRR TVs with readings, they would've noticed. People did notice after Pro launched.I like to know what make some of you so sure about it.
No offence but people aren't exactly trustworthy. They lean to notice such stuff when over scrutinize. Not saying it's absolutely out of the question.People have VRR TVs with readings, they would've noticed. People did notice after Pro launched.

Well, you can't be right on this being an issue since launch. PS5 didn't have VRR back then.No offence but people aren't exactly trustworthy. They lean to notice such stuff when over scrutinize. Not saying it's absolutely out of the question.
Right. I forgot it.Well, you can't be right on this being an issue since launch. PS5 didn't have VRR back then.![]()
