I really hope the first party titles begin rolling our atmos support when this goes live.
People are saying there is automatic support. I think that will be interesting to see how that works in practice.

It's headphones, 3D audio is supported in a long time.YUSSS! Hopefully this works with the new Steelseries Nova Pro's ive just bought
Could anyone dm me us code please.
If anyone wants to dm me an American code I'll be forever grateful!
Until this day this is not fixed, not on my setup, tried everything and every guide on the internet to fix this. There shouldn’t be an audio delay as long as you have your eARC set to passthrough. That fixes it on Xbox too.
There are a lot of third party games that support Atmos already. This really needed to be a day 1 thing. I hope we get games that officially support Atmos rather than just a conversion from Tempest 3D Audio.

I think if anyone will do it it'll be Naught Dog, Sucker Punch or Insomniac. Spiderman with Atmos would be really cool while swinging around. And if The Last of Us gets it it'll sound better than any other game. (It already does)The PS5 outputs PCM which is why this didn't work in the past.
For Atmos to work and work well the PS5 has to translate the object based 3D audio to Atmos, which in theory shouldn't be hard. Instead of simulating where the audio should be, it can tell Atmos speakers to play in the appropriate speaker.
The biggest problem is likely to be games that don't use objects above very much.

They’ll just need a patch for the PS5 version. It’s not a big deal.Just not on PS5. So we'll need devs to step this up across systems. I'll be testing the atmos conversion later today assuming I get the beta email and I'll create a thread to report on findings.
Mute PS5 beep sound. You can now mute or adjust the volume of the PS5’s beep sound when turning it on or off, or putting it in rest mode.
Sadly, no activity feed.
Support for compatible Dolby Atmos-enabled audio devices
3D Audio powered by Tempest 3D AudioTech can now be enjoyed by those who own compatible Dolby Atmos-enabled HDMI devices such as soundbars, TVs or home theater systems.

Great update.
Still no folders or themes...
Bruh. It's been like since the ps3! I can't believe it. I'm about to cry. My wife is literally ALLERGIC to that beep. The only feature that matters.
57NQ-N49F-XHTMDoes anyone have a EU code left? Thanks a lot!
None of the consoles allow for Dolby Vision for UHD Blu-Rat playback… sigh…I thought you meant Atmos. The console still doesn’t support Dolby Vision at all. That’s a separate certification they need from Dolby.
Thank you sir! That worked!57NQ-N49F-XHTM
Thank you kind sir! Worked like a charm57NQ-N49F-XHTM
Redeemed a code successfully but now.i don't know where to download it from ?
Can't find it in my game library...
They usually start arriving later in the eveningAnyone get a email in the US yet?
ATMOSS YESSSSSS this was the biggest difference for me between PC and PS5 being an audio nerd.
The only feature that matters.
Muting the on/off sound is a must! It sends a signal to my wife’s sleeping body to look at me. It’s so loud and annoying at 1:30 am. I’m glad they joined team Xbox with this feature.
I got it now. My PS5 is in a whole different room that my wife barely uses or is ever in, so this was never an issue for me. But I see why yall hate it now lol.
