PS5 Dualsense Concord Edition Announced for $84.99

Never understand paying extra for something I never look at while gaming. It's like buying a skin for first person shooter.

Nowhere near as ugly as Redfall's controller. Just cover the logo and tell everyone it's a Wipeout controller or something.

Angry_Megalodon Angry_Megalodon This is what the PlayStation ChinaJoy booth looks like:

There's a big statue of Astro Bot in the front and center of the booth, with two large screens showcasing the game's trailer; while Concord is relegated to an advertisement in the back of the whole thing. It isn't even playable there!
But sure, Sony lives in a bubble or something.

Now I am very, very curious about China version of Concord. Will they cover up the face of 3-4 black characters and give the non binary an actual gender?

Looks like a pretty nice controller.

Sony put so much effort into the Concord PS5 controller, they forgot to actually make a good game to go with it. It's like building a Ferrari for a go-kart race.

I like it, semi OT, but wish they did more special edition controllers lol

I don't know if I'd like the game enough to get a controller for it though, its hard to tell with these things as MP games can be hit or miss. By the time I even like the game and get the rhythm of it, the controller might be sold out lol

This aged like milk in less than 5 days.

Not quite, because I also said that this is the most obvious marketing decision in history, that's why I mentioned it as an example. Astrobot has been around since 2018. In 2024 we are getting the controller. Better late than never, but doesn't invalidate the fact that the present Sony is tone-deaf.

There is no safer bet for Sony than this and the Bloodborne remake, whenever that happens.

No, it's not like that. This is due to a new entry for the series, the very first one available in retail for everyone and not just a small bunch of VR users.

Given that Astro Bot not getting a custom controller was your main example of that being the case, uh huh.
Now you just have to say that it's all thanks to Shuhei Yoshida, lol.

Compare this (still available at Playstation direct) to Astrobot controller already selling by third parties from 130€ to 200€. Playstation bosses and decision makers are so out of touch this generation.
