They didnt get rid of themes. they're bringing back the "classic" themes that activated during the big PlayStation anniversary - which people went nuts over because they included like the original PS start ups on boot especially (at least for me) the original PS1 start up sequence being included. It hit right in the feels.

I don't like how the theme overlays each gaming tab. One thing I like is the wallpaper each game has and the effects cover that in an ugly way.

Almost all themes fuck that up.

PS3 ends up being the best because it has some opacity in it.

You boys are talking about the themes but what about the new auto focus sound options ?
Man, this new option is beautiful and super useful for headphones users since it boosts the max volume !
Especially neat with games where the max audio output isn't that high like SH2 Remake/Alan Wake 2 etc...

Did some tests and for me, the best setting is the "boost quiet sounds" option with the adjustment level set to "medium".

This thing is basically a welcomed free max audio level boost like the DA for headphones was for the XSX.
