Thank you, lots of good laughs in here and people shouldn't take it everything so seriously. With the state of PlagueWorld these days we all could use more laughs and less drama.

It's really sad when people (on both sides) are unable to to simply laugh at a joke. Personally I love memes and there are some excellent ones in here. I hope my Xbros will refrain from further trolling in here and just enjoy the memes.

Ok speech over, bring on more memes!

I'll never understand why people get mad and start arguing within a freaking meme thread. It's just silly enjoyment for everyone.

The Xbox Division focus on hypotheticals. Playstation division focus on results.

Should, could, maybe, possibly... All that doesn't matter when the launch day arrives, and your console has to actually run the software.

Series X is suppose to run third party games best. When Microsoft realized this isn't true, the only choice they had was to hide this issue until launch, when people already gave them money.
This wouldn't be so bad if Halo Infinite was the AAA game they were hoping for. But things as they are, the floor is crumbling beneath their feet and they are running out of places to stand.

I guess now we see why Halo Infinite demo didn't run on Series X, and how third party games were not showcased on them. Microsoft knew all along.

Im not going to get into this PR thing again. There are clearly people who understand, and people who dont. Ive been a GAF member for a while, and was a reader long before that. Disc install Turns out, at this point the speed and throughput of the consoles exceeds the transfer speeds of the disc. I dont have the exact numbers, but the reason BOTH CONSOLES do mandatory installs is because youd be actually giving up a ton of potential performance by bottlenecking the systems at the read speeds of the disc. Even on 360 games like GTAV are mandatory HDD installs at this point reading from disc is just too slow. On top of which, the instant game switching feature goes away

Performance: Im not dismissing raw performance. Im stating as I have stated from the beginning that the performance delta between the two platforms is not as great as the raw numbers lead the average consumer to believe. There are things about our system architecture not fully understood, and there are things about theirs as well, that bring the two systems into balance.

People DO understand that Microsoft has some of the smartest graphics programmers IN THE WORLD. We CREATED DirectX, the standard APIs that everyone programs against. So while people laude Sony for their HW skills, do you really think we dont know how to build a system optimized for maximizing graphics for programmers? Seriously? I get a ton of hate for saying this but its been the same EVERY generation. Sony claims more power, they did it with Cell, they did it with Emotion Engine, and they are doing it again. And, in the end, games on our system looked the same or better.

Im not saying they havent built a good system Im merely saying that anyone who wants to die on their sword over this 30%+ power advantage are going to be fighting an uphill battle over the next 10 years
