So I randomly received this message today. You know, those ones that say to send this message to 25 people and receive credit, blah blah. I've gotten these before, I usually just ignore them. I was curious and entered the code into my account, and much to my surprise, it actually said it was for a $50 credit.

It was most likely already claimed. Like when gaf was giving away Uncharted 2 betas, you could get to that point where you was about to claim it just like you are with the 50 credits, but if you continue you'll get a error stating that the item was already claimed.

Someone bought a 50 credit, claimed it, then used the code to annoy people with chain letters.
