Something very strange seems to have happened to my PSN account.

I was about to play some Bloodborne online; when I noticed the PS+ notification popped up offering me a free trial, this was weird because I bought a 12 month right as Bloodborne released.

I exited the game and noticed my PS+ subscription had vanished; so I went to check my services list and it's completely empty, "No content was found".

Now I'm locked out of all my digital purchases and can't even play anything online.

My account hasn't been hacked, since I am still able to login/out. I have no payment options on my PS4 as I use Paypal. (Seen way too many thread on GAF to make me remove my card details)

EDIT: I've tried restoring licences.

EDIT 2: My Services List is completely empty now.

EDIT 3: It seems the problem is linked with the UK PS NOW Beta, many people are reporting the same issue:

Did you try turning it off and on again?

Yes.

Me too having some ps+ issues, my subscription expired this feb and i've tried to resubscribe this month but i saw something strange in my account history which missing all the PS3 and Vita PS+ games i've had before for 2 years except PS4 PS+ games. I've contacted Sony today and they asked me to subscribe and see, if i still could not find then requested to send the games missing from my account history to fix this.

If it is indeed an issue on Sony's end, is no one else having this issue?

Also tried using the live chat on the US Sony Support and they cut me off without saying a word as soon as they found out I was in the UK...

Thanks, Sony -__-

Is there any chance you might have bought a one month sub by mistake?

I know it's a stupaid question, but it's worth making sure!

I bought a 12 month subscription, the fact that my services list is COMPLETELY empty makes it a slightly bigger problem than my PS+ running out early.

If you log into the web store and go to account management does all your stuff appear there?

My purchase history is showing up, yes.

I know it's a 12 month that I purchased, it's the first thing I checked. More worried that my services list is empty on my PS4.

My purchase history is showing up, yes.

Does it show the date of when you brought it and start/end date of it? Also you should get an email with that info the moment you brought it. That's all the proof you need and you can show it to a rep.

Maybe,
  1. remove the PS4 from being your primary
  2. delete user
  3. re-add / activate user
  4. profit?

If this doesn't work, add "restore PS4 to factory defaults" sort of thing between 2 and 3.

Am I going to have to re-download everything after doing this?

Once Destiny said that I didn't have PS+ despite having PS+ on not only the account I was playing on but also on the account set as Primary on that system. It said that for about 15 minutes and there was nothing I could do.

I think it just happens, sometimes. :/

I have 2 questions:

1. Have you tried logging into your account on the Sony playstation store on a computer?

2. Have you done a "rebuild database" on your PS4? Go look up on how to perform this.

1. Yes, everything on my services list is still there when I do this.

2. Rebuilding the database now.

EDIT: Rebuilt the database, services list is still empty.

Huh, that's odd. I'm guessing that a server fed your PS4 some bad data.

You have logged into your PSN account, right? Have you also tried to "check for updates"?

If you don't do the factory reset, no, just refreshing licenses should do. (I'm not sure what happens with the reset, tho)

You can also try downloading stuff on a trusted friend's PS4. If that doesn't work, the problem should indeed be on Sony's server side.

So I did all of this, and my services list is still empty. I also have to download everything again.

I think this is a job for Sony's support, which isn't currently open.

Going to have to wait until tomorrow I think.

EDIT:

I can't even download anything that I've bought as it's not showing up that I purchased it in both the console store, and the web store...

Removing the user shouldn't delete the downloads on the PS4? It should just lock the content out to the non-activated users. Maybe removing the one and only user does something I'm not aware of..

I'm sorry for mis-guiding you if you lost all your downloads :(

Don't worry about it, my save data is on the cloud and my internet is fast enough.

Just wish I could have got this problem sorted tonight, was really craving some Bloodborne PvP :(

Are you banned? Have you contacted support yet?

Edit:When you log into the web store on PC or mobile, does it still show that you can download games in your library?

Did you post this on Reddit earlier, OP? I saw someone with a similar issue, something along the lines of his console thinking he didn't have PS+ anymore when he definitely still should. If that wasn't you, it points to it being a more widespread issue and more likely to get addressed by Sony sooner.

Now I'm paranoid and feel like I need to check my PS4 as soon as I get home. :/

I wouldn't be wiping anything just now until you've exhausted all possible options.

Have you tried deleting your user account on PS4 then re adding it again.

I not a reddit user but I'm glad I'm not alone on this issue.

I tried deleting my account; but as it was the only account on the PS4, it had to reinitialize the PS4 which deleted everything.

Here's the thread in question: https://www.reddit.com/r/PlayStationPlus/comments/34dzkp/playstation_plus_membership_seems_to_have/

The guy said that he called UK support and they told him that he wasn't the first person to call about it today. So there seems to be at least some sort of awareness, at least. I also had a friend get charged today for 3 months of PS+ but that could just be a coincidence. I have no idea if he was actually due to renew.

This seems to be the exact issue I'm having...

I'm sorry to hear that. :/ That's the only thread I could find about it with a quick searches across "PS+" and "Playstation Plus" so it doesn't seem to be too widespread, but enough for it to be mentioned independently across these two sites, at least. Hopefully it's just some weird database quirk that isn't too hard to fix.

Well, good luck and I hope that your issue gets resolved soon.

=/

I've had an instance where Steam wouldn't show my games library after a steam client update. Within an hour or so there was another client update that fixed it. That was a scary experience especially when it happened during a steam sales.

Not having any issues playing anything but I've just checked in Services and mine is empty too. Still showing as a Plus member and have access to the premium version of Spotify but I can't download any games from the library.

When I follow the instructions on here and check the Plus games they all have the correct expiry date on them.

I also notice that when I go to the library on the PS4, anything that isn't already downloaded is missing the icon image.

I know that it doesn't help you but from what I'm seeing it seems that something has just come loose between the console and their servers and there isn't going to be anything that you can do on your side to fix it. I'm in the UK too and they may have glued it all back together again by the time everybody get's home from work tomorrow.

EDIT:
Restarted and the game images are back now.

EDIT 2:
Signed into our US account and everything is working as it should be, we got given a US 12 month Plus code and it's still active and everything is showing as it should in Services. I get the feeling that somebody in SCEE accidentally knocked out an ethernet cable when they were leaving work today.

Sorry, went to sleep.

Nothing has changed since last night; I did check my transaction history on the webstore this morning and all my purchases are still showing up there. As are the expiration dates on all my PS+ games.

I'm still unable to download anything as it says I don't actually own it in the store though.

Services list and library is still empty too, just waiting for the UK support line to open in an hour and a half.

As far as I can tell everything is working on my end. I never checked my services on PS4 before but it looks a bit strange. On my PS3 there are 79 entries, while on PS4 I have only 26 and half of them are completely empty. This is how it looks

Is that normal? Because it's a bit worrying.

Yeah ok this is getting really frustrating. In my services list it says there's no content. It also said my email wasn't verified so I clicked on that and it sent an email to verify my account and I hoped that would fix things. Nope. Still says I don't have PS Plus. Still nothing in my services list. I'm just gonna have to call them tomorrow morning if it isn't fixed by then.

Have things got any better for the OP?

Not sure if we can get this any more visibility at the moment. I don't think they'll do much over the weekend, sadly. I tweeted at Fred Dutton, so someone is aware, but he said he's not responsible and we should contact support.

If Sony's support are up to their usual standard, they'll tell people it's their own fault and no refunds and something about terms and conditions and end with a cheery "fuck you."

Well it makes sense. You really don't need any other games when you have PS Now™!

Thanks for the thread, interesting read. At least there's a common factor and Sony is aware.

My PS+ membership got canceled midway through a 12 month subscription. They tried explaining it wasn't a 12 month code. The playstation website stated I redeemed a 12 month code and the card I found at home was a 12 month card. I finally got them to restore my PS+. It was annoying and who knows why it happened. They also tried to debit my account for the renewal, but thankfully I don't keep my cc on account. Sony being Sony. It seems like it's always best to contact support. It's also best to save your redeemed codes as proof until they expire. You can also save the sony support chat if you need to refer back to it later and contact them again.
