On playstation yeah probably. On xbox... not sure. XBL is up, but destiny is probably hosted on activision servers.

Wow, can't believe this thread exploded as much as it did XD! Sites being shut down, bomb threats, mum vs. mom debates, Infamous SS quality debate, XBL getting DDOSed, and even a hacking war booming! Today was a grand event, I must say

Granted, it is a shame that Sony Online president was threatened (which is really messed X() and that many PS4 owners were unable to play there games, but.....it looks like things will get better

PSN on PS3 and Vita is back online for most regions (I know it is for NA; been working for me for a while now) and XBL while slow is still working well, so there is hope that the other sites effected get fixed and that the PS4's online is working good again by tomorrow.
.....Gotta say though, NeoGaf is priceless man XD! Times like these makes me glad that the mods approved me to be a member here :').

I wouldn't be surprised if these script kiddies' parents have access to servers and they're just using them for the DDoS attacks.

No you just claimed that Sony had no "DDoS security" and hasn't upgraded their server infrastructure
which is 100% false. So explain to me how you can go about making such claims and calling a DDoS attack "amateuristic" without being "an expert." That is unless you want to just come out and admit you were talking out your ass. It might work out better for you if you just admit it instead of denying it.
