PSN connection problems (12/24)

So are we still going to keep assuming they've been getting DDOSed for 3 days straight still and that this is in no way a representation of poor handling on Sony's part?
 
So we need compensation for this. I had a 4 day holiday, planned to play GTAO and its completely ruined.

I don't think you lost the trophies you got during these issues. As far as I know, it saves trophies locally if there is no internet and when it works again you just have to sync.

But if you format or delete all the data on your PS4, you do lose the trophies if you haven't synced it by then. Or something like that.
 
Yes back offline here in the Netherlands.

Yeah, EU servers went dead at 18:00 CET, looks like they are doing something.

Good thing is that heavy snow arrived, so I will spend most of the night on my 2nd job, cleaning roads in the village.
 
This is not even close to being acceptable for a paid service. Sony is going to lose a mess load of sales from this and they'll deserve it too. How the hell has xbl been up for so long already?!?!
 
Also, I really hope they extend the sales as that Danganronpa 2 deal for €17 was really good. Hope I didn't lose that.
 
Unacceptable that's all i can say. What is even worse there whole protocol is just bonkers when looking at Xbox live witch is i guess just working right now. Every DDoS happened to sony it is offline for more then 48/72 hours is a outrage to be honest there going through there whole protocol since they where hacked a few years ago.

But being offline for so long is no good for a paid service they need to get up and running asap no matter what.
 
Sony could have gotten hit harder, who knows though.

you know what they deserve to lose all their customers, i wonder is there anyone who can be held responsible for this in Sony, I mean they have organisational structures right, someone needs to have a real hard talk with management regarding this...

Same here. To make things worse, Rockstar took the snow away already so I never to play in that type of environment. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKK.

Well they are always attacked harder for some reason and it sort of isn't fair. From all angles, someone somewhere has a problem with sony as if they are some corrupt business when they are really just an entertainment business. Not sure why they deserve to lose customers when they are targeted all the time for baseless attacks.

I think at this point, people really just hate sony. These guys really must have been attacking them for a very long time opposed to MS.

Still microsoft engineers have it now fully up and running look at the website. They need to learn from that.

Fine, I'll be serious. Word is its up but working like shit for a number of people. App issues, downloads failing, and slow as a snail.

I wouldn't say they're fully up and running either.

Hopefully they work together with the FBI and try to track the jerks down that did this. As we've seen, they're both open to these attacks and both have continuing issues long after the attacks have stopped.
 
Has anyone had any luck trying to play Dragon Age on PS4? This whole outage sucks
I've been playing it the past 2 days but can never connect to the servers. It starts for me with what is essentially a lengthy load time as it fails to connect. I would be really pissed if my trophies didn't save. Haven't been online since Christmas Morning (around 9:00 AM). Like others have said, this is unacceptable for a paid service.

Well, Sony has been gunned down for a month. Pictures and now an ongoing DDoS attack to PSN. Yes, Sony as an organization was hit tremendously harder.

They are all separated and probably all servers are split within a lot of other things, but the fact that from many people involved in this ridiculous DDOS attack kept repeating that they stop "specifically" hitting PSN..means one thing. There was more than just a Lizardsquad hitting Sony.

This is REALLY close to victim blaming, but I feel you. They don't deserve to lose all their customers, though.

Whoever there that is in charge or network stability/sysadmin out to get shitcanned though. Complete lack of ability to plan.

I'm not a fan of everyone yelling at Sony though. Feel like everyone is busy hating them instead of the attackers.
 
Dont think so. I played the PS+ version w/o being online last night.

I think if you ps+ was set to expire, and then you renewed it, but your system hasnt been online since the renewal, then you cant do anything until it gets back online. At least thats what I think had happened on my vita a couple weeks ago. Couldnt play anything on the bus, except for a f2p game. As it assumed my ps+ was expired.
