I think that will only work if the DDoS stops. If it keeps going then things like this then demands like that are probably going to be more impotent than anything else; why even bother when service is still interrupted?

Though the irony is possibly that just because of the holiday season a natural DDoS was going to happe anyway so it made no difference whatsoever, effectively.

My thoughts exactly. Even if these douchebags keep up their end of the bargain others will get wind of it. We're in for a bumpy ride if things like this persist.

By the way, congrats on the new Vita. It's by far my most beloved handheld I've owned since my Gameboy Color with Metal Gear Solid: Ghost Babel.

Yeah, I guess it should be taken with a grain of salt, although those Finest Squad guys (the ones that doxxed Lizard Squad last time) said Sony's servers went dark. Maybe a reset or somerhing, I don't know.

Finest also said they wouldn't let this happen last time, so we're basically stuck in the middle of an internet pissing match.
 
If tbis happens again and Kim DotCom gets involved again I will personally blaime Kim DotCom for the entire event. Settled those the terms ill set for Kim DotCom do you agree GAF? Is it... a Deal?

This post accurately reflects my feelings. The worst part? My friends tell me it works for them. I'm sitting here trying to restart the damn console over and over again without any success.

Worked this morning though, could even access the Store.

To clarify.
There is a bunch of downloaded games on PS4. Most of them hidden under Library menu.
I haven't play Killzone for a while, and it's moved from main menu.
Now I cannot launch KZ from library, and even by voice commands.

go to network settings on the PS4 and uncheck the connect to internet tab and you should be good.
 
I'm glad I decided to give the PS4 to the boyfriend on the morning of the 24th. At least we were able to update the console and sign in with our PSN accounts that day. Also downloaded Resogun, which until now is the only game we have, and subscribed to PS+ (which could have waited to be hones, we can't do anything with it now). Had I waited until the 25th to present him, we would only have a beautiful and expensive paperweight.

Frankly this should be inexcusable. The fact we're all paying for their garbage service is even worse. If I'm paying for a product, I expect it to work 100% of the time.

How much longer will these connection problems persist? Another day or two? On Sony's part, it's pretty pathetic. It appears their networking service really is run by monkeys.

I can sign in to PSN now to see my friends list. Still no psn store though. According to lizard squads twitter they stopped 7 hours ago. I guess PSN is still down because Sony themselves have taken it offline to fix stuff.
 
Mine has been unable to load up properly since 5:30 PM Wednesday. Turning it on this morning, I can now remain signed on and see my Friends List, and I can enter my digital games but cannot play the online potion of it. For example, in GTA:O, it says "The Rockstar game services are unavailable right now. .. try again later." Ugh.

Yup havent been able to login to buy any christmas related gta:o stuff.

Cmon Sony... I wanna redeem my ps+ and 70 euro's worth of psn cash :/.
 
I'm not sure what the exact nature of KimDotCom's payoff, but I hate him more than the hackers (YES DDOS, whatever, nobody cares whether or not it's actually hacking). The fact that he's trying to engage with them is silly on so many levels.

Why do you want to use the app though? The browser does pretty much 1/1 the same thing except for resolution I believe.
