Nope. I have two systems so my Pro with all my good games installed doesn't work. It needs to be online to play games. I console share with my base PS5.

Edit: mine is back online fyi

Edit 2: nevermind some services are up (screenshots uploaded) but my Pro is still unable to play digital games.

I'd imagine the Helldiver developers are really upset. They were clearly cooking up something fun for the 1 year anniversary and now people can't join the fun.
 
Happy to see that I didn't turn off the default DRM-like setting where every game you play has to verify its license with PSN to open and that PSN has to be up to turn off the setting so the entire console is a brick for me right now 😐.

Huh? Sounds like you're game sharing with someone. Your console must be set to a primary to play games offline. If you're game sharing with someone, their console is the primary.

Yeah the shit has def hit the fan. You can play f2p games without PS+ right? Cause my sub is up this month and dont want to renew, but I would like to continue to play the PoE2 beta at least.

im locked out of all games currently.
 
Hopefully Sony are just woefully incompetent at running their online infrastructure, and they're not still woefully incompetent at digital security leading to a new massive hack.
 
10 hours and nothing from PlayStation since the original post.

The least they could do is acknowledge this lengthy downtime for everyone as I feel like the silence is probably more annoying now than the service being down. 😂
 
Ok here's a fun one. I popped in Rise of Ronin but apparently a dlc won't let me play my save.

Digital content flat out sucks. You corporate cucks who worship things going digital are going to be crippled if or when your favorite store dies.

Go into the network settings and select offline.
Edit: Connect to the internet off.

i cant, i have to activate it before the server is down.it wont let me to do so.

This is the messsage i get when i try to select offline under "console sharing and offline play"

"Cant use this content. Cant connect to the server to verify your license. Wait a while and then try again.
If you enable "console sharing and offline play" on this PS5, you can use your content even when the server isnt available. To enable this setting, select "settings" > "user and accounts" > "other""
