Probably $299 as the Value pack is € 249 in Europe.

Seems like a good deal to me if true. Sandisk 1GB sticks are around € 75 here.

The best bit of this pack is the stand. Seriously.

It's fucking impossible to watch full length movies without one, and so far no retailer I've visited in Japan, USA, Canada, UK and Finland has stocked one. Because I haven't had a stand, my PSP has met the floor of a 747 more times than I care to count.

299 GBP? isn't it 179 GBP for the PSP anyways?

I don't think Sony are stupid enough to just throw a 1 gig stick in there and whack up the price by 120 GBP.

I assume there will be a content CD, but even then... there has to be something much better than that to justify that price hike (if true, but i can't believe it would be - it would just be too retarded at 299 GBP)

299 Euros would be a bargain though, that would come out at 203 GBP and would mean you get the 1 gig stick for an extra 30 notes.

It MUST be 299e. 299 GBP doesn't make any sense. Besides, after a explosive start, PSP hasn't been too hot in Europe, so a good deal makes sense.

Now, the real question is that will the stand be sold separately or do I have to buy another PSP to get one?

BestBuy and EB Games mainly. I've also seen stands with integrated speakers. All I want is a small piece of plastic. Something that costs 0.05 USD to make and sells for 20 USD. Like the PS2 vertical stand, but with an actual benefit.
