TO: Japanese people or people that live in Tokyo

Tomorrow a japanese friend of mine, should go to Akihabara (Tokyo) to buy some electronic stuff. He would like to buy even a PSP (telling the truth 2 PSPs, one for him and one for me ;) ) with a pair of games.

You, Japanese people, or people that live in Tokyo, are able to tell me if the PSP is SOLD OUT even there, or it is possible to buy it in Akihabara?

If you know, please tell me a few places in which it is available.
Thanks so much.

Akihabara (or Shinjuku/Shibuya) would be the worst place to search for a PSP. He should go check out the Toys 'R Us out in the boonies.

Yeah. Akihabara will be a zoo. He'd be better off at a Boonie store, or if he is stuck in Central Tokyo, he should find a Sony dealer with a teeny games section, where gamers will be less likely to hang out. Lots of those giant fridge and stereo places have a corner of a floor with a limited games stock. I got a PlayStation, a Saturn and a PS2 in places like that.
