I think people missed it though because they relied on Sonycowboy's synopsis of the story, and he mysteriously skipped the part about Activision.
But anyway, he didn't say June specifically, he just said Q2, which CNN added could mean as late as June for those having trouble getting their hands around a calendar.

If the DS can launch this year then Nintendo could have a head of steam by then and come 2006/2007 they could launch a true successor to GBA that ups the ante on PSP and maybe even continue their trend of handheld domination..
