Is there an equalizer in the PSP's MP3 player? Because my brother was using my PSP once and he was in the equalizer mode, where you could choose rock, pop, classic or whatever the options were. Now whenever I go to play an MP3, I press every single buttons, but I can't get that little menu to pop up. Anybody know if there even is an equalizer for the MP3 player? Because I saw him using it. I swear!

I don't know if you can use the equalizer when playing mp3's, but to bring it up connect some headphones and press the mute button/music note.

Yeah they're preset equalizer settings only when headphones are connected.

The EQ is only active when the headphones are plugged in. Press the music note button to change.

You can't adjust it. It automatically changes the bass, etc. levels to match the song that's playing.

That really sucks, especially seeing as how my MD has two cutom levels that i can set on the six-band EQ. But then again, i never use EQs. :/
