Can someone briefly list which PSP games support wifi multiplayer? Just peer-peer adhoc is fine (I'm trying to persuade a friend to buy one from lik-sang - they are shipping at $280 for the basic pack)

Ridge Racers (JPN)
Minna no golf (JPN)
wipeout pure(US)
Mercury (US)
Metal gear acid (US)

Are any of these multiplayer? What others too?

Im pretty sure wipeout, ridge racers and MGA are all multiplayer...no idea about the others though

These are multiplayable. You might also want to get Twisted Metal Head-On and Lumines, both of which are also multiplayable.

Off the top of my head :

puyo puyo fever (JPN) - 2 players on same PSP (!) , 2 players head to head, 4 players head to head (2 players per each PSP!)

Piposaru Academia (JPN) - 2 players on same PSP , 2 players head to head, 4 players head to head (2 players per each PSP)

Kollon! (JPN) - i think it's 2 players head to head only, don't recall.

Mojipittan (JPN) - none - you have to take turns on one PSP (at least i think!)

Lumines (JPN) - 2 players ass kickings head to head

Mingol (JPN) - 2 players watching each other play, 4 players in match mode (maybe 8?) - no multiplayer on same machine (!)

Namco Museum (JPN) - 2 player co op

Vampire Saviour (JPN) - 2 player head to head

Puzzle Bobble (JPN) - NOTHING if i remember rightly.

I hope the US version of Darkstalkers has at least a 2 player mode.

Looking at that list illustrates that WiFI over internet play is probably alot more popular here than in Japan.

according to the manual, it goes beyond 2, it has 4 players

Yeah, just bought mine along with a PSP pre-order and it says 1-4 players, wtf!!??

Is that like a VS tag team mode or each player gets a round?

Each player gets a round, but I'm not sure that the match is displayed on all of the PSP's

Speaking of multiplayer games... can anyone recommend a wireless router? I'd love to play some Twisted Metal with some of you guys.
