PSP rattle

My PSP started rattling when it loads from the disc . The sound is quite loud and it started quite suddenly anyone know anything about this?

The rattle is there on purpose, It's according to specifications.

This is something that Sony created, and this is their specification. There was a clear purpose to it, and it wasn't a mistake.

I believe they made the most beautiful thing in the world. Nobody would criticize a renowned architect's blueprint that the position of a gate is wrong. It's the same as that.

That's great and all, but it wasn't there yesterday so I don't think it was part of their master plan.

Read your manual, it says it write on the first page.

"Anyway 'flaws' you have with the PSP machine is not a flaw, they are intentionally and are a part of a well balanced and artistic design that enchances gameplay. Some new features will occur only after heavy use, you should embrace them and not complain."

Anyway, I don't know Sony's current policy on reutnring PSPs, you should try calling customer service and ask them if they'll replace it for you.

WHAT'S THAT RATTLE

I was going to make a joke about this being a new pack-in title for infants, but thought better of it.

Is it EVERY disc?

It detects a Nintendo DS unit within the vincinity.

Don't take it personally, the N-bots of the forum are letting off steam from the flogging they got with the RE5 announcement and thread today.

Back under the bridges you guys, nothing to see here.

If it's all your UMD's call Sony Customer Service.

The new firmware uses the disc spinner to replicate the rumble feature that is now standard on home console controllers.

I don't know anything about it as I've never experienced it...I think it's a problem. Most consoles have a 60-90 day warrentee, check that out. I bought PSP/PRP from Best Buy (actually FutureShop, but you won't know what that means if you're from the US :P) for my PSP, if you did the same then get it exchanged/repaired asap.

oh don't make it personal. That was truly funny, and the fact that it really happened before with Ken making that statement is what makes it funny, not the sarcasm.

It's loud and happens everytime the game starts to load. Nobody here has had this problem? I find that hard to believe.

Nope, have you like called Sony Customer Service like you were advised to already? Just dial some numbers on the phone and tell them whats wrong. Better then repeatedly posting on a message board.
