That looks like its going to be the systems next LCS. Not in terms of sales but just in terms of a game that's really taking advantage of what the PSP can do. No load times and it looks basically like the PS2 versions.

What i'd like on the PSP is Rage Racer running on the Ridge Racers graphics engine.

awesome! You rock dude! You should remove the mag scans cause they are not allowed on this forum. You might be banned so remove them from here.

Hey, thx for the tip. The Pics have been removed, but is it okay to keep the link ?!

He did. he may overstate/antagonize a bit, but his desire for new games (or at least games that haven't been done over and over) was pretty clear. I don't see anythign wrong with that.

And Ponn1: I don't recall FortNinety saying that the DS was better in this respect (or in fact, him mentioning the DS at all).

It's not like FortNinety said "there are no good games, they're all ports."

We're so used to these PSP threads being trolled that I think we've gotten a little knee-jerk.

Oh I know he didn't, but I think it's universally accepted that PSP has more PS1 and PS2 ports while the GBA and DS(especially being GBA BC) being the port machines of NES and SNES games. That's why it seems completely out of left field to hear "There are too many NES and SNES ports on the PSP" Just saying something like that seems ludicrous. I wasn't trying to imply that ports are bad things at all, on the contrary actually, just pointing out that the statement just made no sense, especially put into perspective with all the ACTUAL NES and SNES ports that are out and coming out to both GBA and DS (Final Fantasy anyone?). I wish the PSP was getting more SNES ports, Actraiser, UN Squadron, Turtles in Time, etc.

Syphon Filter Dark Mirror looks amazing. Glad they didn't can it! And it's a huge improvement over what we say at E32004

-etc.
Some type of new Virtua Fighter game.
Crazy Taxi.
Outrun 2.
Ridge Racer Type 4 updated to Ridge Racers graphics quality.
San Francisco Rush 2049.
As long as I'm dreaming here, NiGHTS, Super GT, and Daytona 2.

ahh.. the good ol' days of the SNES post-launch (Turtles excluded). That was a fun time.
No kidding. Don't I wish that having 256 colors was what still did it for me in terms of graphical upgrades?

I'll take anything that plays well w/ digital control. A lot of these requests would not transfer well to the PSP for control reasons.

Why even bother defending lame-ass limpdick trolling like that? If he's going to troll the PSP, he could at least get creative with it, Drinky Crow style. "Wahh, whine, it's nothing but NES/SNES ports!" There are something like 20 NES/SNES ports for the GBA, but I would clearly be acting like a bitch if I accused the GBA of having no proprietary content, because of that.

For some resone I've been yearning for a Golden Axe remake. And as far as systems go the PSP would do just fine. Plus, I don't think that the screen on the PSP would make things any worse. :)

Nice lists...

Dream Games
-Guardian Legends update
-Colors (or, at least, a good game with GPS features)
-Jet Moto
-Rez Evolution
-Metal Gear 1 & 2 updated to MGS quality of graphics/gameplay

Dream Features

-Mic support natively on the front end under the WWW icon, so you could use the PSP as a voice-AIM or even make a WiFi call
-Xbox Live-style network
-A smart system for managing disconnects (which, not just because of cheaters, are more common on a handheld by nature) and maybe some server-run online games instead of peer-to-peer
-Net Yaroze/Linux Kit PSP Version (echoing Matix)

Terrene: Merciful banned before I needed to reply.

Not every criticism of the PSP is an automatic advocation of the DS. And he didn't say every game was a port.

Oh, I replied anyway. Oh well.

NOTE TO SEGA:

Port Panzer Dragoon Saga and NiGHTS into Dreams onto the PSP. Upgrade 'em, remake 'em, leave 'em the same, none of us care, we just want the damn games! PDS was completely undercut by SoA and the demise of the Saturn and NiGHTS has become a massive cult classic; these games WILL SELL.

To reiterate Sega, if you like money (despite how much you claimed otherwise in the past), release these games on the PSP. You won't regret it.

Oh, and Kojima, release a Policenauts + Snatcher combo UMD. Just do it, don't ask questions and don't worry about updating or remaking them. Just spend 2000Y and about 17 hours, port 'em over, and watch the WW sales rape a million+. Thank me later.

Hell yeah.

Also Warhawk. I would like to see a followup to Critical Depth by Incog. It was a good idea, just an awful implementation. Or perhaps they can take vehicle combat into outer space. I'd buy that.

And for the love of all that's good and right, just slap an antialiasing filter on Symphony of the Night and release it.

I could diffinately go for that. It means finally giving up the hope of a working PS1 emulator for PSP and ripping my copy of SOTN.

Jet Set Radio PSP in any form would be simply marvelous.
Throw some Panzer Dragoon in there and a few Sonic (2d, 3d, whatever) titles, and my PSP will never leave my Side.

PSP would be the perfect place to get a little Tekken fix as well.

More RPGs are a must for me as well, the PSP has great potential as a portable RPG station. The PSP is all-too well suited for some strat-RPG goodness.

I wouldn't even be adverse to somethin akin a PSOne greatest hits line of direct ports at a reduced price, being able to play all my old PSOne games (plus the scads I haevn't yet played) on the PSPs beautiful screen would be a dream come true.

Unfortunately, Incog/SingleTrac's games tend to demand just about every button on the pad. Jet Moto might be better suited for PS3 -- I hella want a PS3 Moto -- but if they did it with a tilt sensor or something so you could steer yaw and then use the triggers for spin, it could be a great fit for the handheld.

FFVIII-2.
Or an upgraded remake.

More platformers and RPGs.

ONLINE FIGHTING GAMES (a port of SFAC would render everything I own irrelevant).

Most importantly, games with little to no loading.
I wanted to play Ape Escape so much, but the sheer amount of loading ruined it. :(

I totally let this thread slip by and missed much of the mud-slinging, so all I really have to add is...
