PSPs at Play-Asia.com HURRY

Yep, I'm thinking of changing my supplier too.

Play-Asia shipped my price raped units at 11PM Wednesday night, although my preorder was among the first ones to arrive. And this only after I sent them a message saying that if I don't see a tracking number by midnight I'll cancel my order, I'm not going to pay 500USD price premium for something that's shipped three days late. Not sure if it had an impact, but the confirmation came by the end of the day. Tuesday would have made it for weekend, but now it's stuck in Bangkok. Let's hope the humidity won't kill the PSPs.

Is Lik-Sang any better?

It's not like Play-Asia suddenly raised the price and charged people without asking if they still wanted it, right?

They've been good to me recently with very fast shipping, so I'm spreading my import shopping between them and NCS. I'm not getting a PSP anytime soon anyway.

Encouraging people to pre-order as soon as possible, but then holding them to a ransom over the price is not good business practice in my opinion.

While confirmed preorders have been cleared, we are now sitting on limited stock that is available for new orders to ship within 24 hours (and to arrive right on time before Christmas) as long our supply lasts

Looks like they aren't getting the orders they want. Seems like the people willing to pay $600 is drying up, and they are sitting on preorders until the price goes down.

Success-HK had Value Package + Game for $529 yesterday, but then their site went down and now I dunno WTF is up.

Considering they were selling the value pack with no game for $629 on Sunday, I'd say that's a decent drop for them.

Edit: seems to be back up at http://203.132.196.2/pp/success.asp , and the price is $508 for the bundle now.

Edit edit: Out of stock again.

Hurry? Why?

After my PS2 hardware experience, I doubt I'll buy first or even second generation models from Sony ever again.

Really? I've never heard anyone mention this before, please explain.

You can't really BLAME Play-Asia for the prices... there is a market for these prices... and at limited supply... why not charge those who are willing to pay?

For those willing to wait... your day of happiness will come soon (by soon I mean either a month from now or in March... so... not TOO SOON but you know what I mean... it's a saying.)
