Since the NTSC version demands an NTSC video signal to play and my TV can't display that without going into synaptic shock (old crap), I was just wondering if the game is still coming out here in PAL-land?
I haven't heard anything about it since it's US release, that it was coming 'this summer' and now summer is practically over and no retailers I've asked have any real clue as to when it may hit. Has it been delayed or even canned? :/

AFAIK it has never been announced. Vivendi Universal distributes Majesco games in Europe, so you might try asking them.

there is no release date, there is not even a publisher afaik...

I guess christmas 2005 seems likely.. really sucks that we have to wait this long for a PAL release.. feels like the snes days all over again

VUG may have stopped doing Majesco games while Majesco finds a new publishing partner or starts putting stuff out itself. A Majesco Europe guy recently said that Psychonauts was being considered by someone. Maybe EA, after the katarmari business.

No point in releasing a PAL version. Seriously. The 10 Europeans that was interested in it has already pirated it anyway. It will propably sell less than 2000 copies here.
