Pure Pwnage Teh Movie - Official Teaser

I'm pretty sure I let out an audible growl when I read "Teh".

edit: Alright, well, I didn't hate it quite as much as I expected to. I can safely say this isn't for me but take no issue with its existence.

Some of the comments in this thread make me feel old :(.

I remember watching their videos back in the day, late 90's/early 2000's with their CS videos.

Web series was ownage. TV series was meh. I wonder if Dave is back.

I have some good news: https://twitter.com/purepwnage/status/558405085160800257

Heh, I was glad to support this on Indiegogo, but I wasn't sure how it would turn out

Looks like I was worried for nothing...it looks awesome. A lot of great memories surrounding PP and gaming back then.

Loved the web series way back when. I think I watched a couple episodes when they switched to TV and it was pretty bad.
This looks alright though. But to be honest I'd rather it returned in the same format as the web series. It was the perfect format for something like this.

The production values and music were crazy impressive and still hold up today. And that was ages before the YouTube boon. It's only recently that other web shows and comedy bits started to have the same quality as pure pwnage.

If you played CS back then, "Boom Headshot!" was everywhere. It wasn't until around the TV show came out that I found out it was a web series. It's so good. It's the sole reason I bought Red Alert 3 and subsequently SC2. I still reference controllers as noob sticks.

Now that Counter-Strike is back in full force we need FPS Doug to usher in the second era of Boom Headshot.

I'm so glad I backed this campaign. I loved Pure Pwnage when it came out and I love watching it even now (I go back and do a rewatch once every few years). The teaser was so good. I know they've revealed Dave is back, but they should reveal him in the most badass way possible in the film.

I can't believe it's been 7 years since the accident. RIP T-Bag ;_;

This doesn't seem to have all the ridiculousness that appeared in the latter half of the web series and doesn't look as bad as the TV show... I have hope. Maybe it's just the nostalgia that's driving it.

Just watched the T-Bag episode for the first time, holy shit this show is good! The rap and the "you called me n-word??" parts are amazing! I used to watch some Pwnage videos but never followed it.

I backed this ages ago and forgot that it was still a thing. Glad that it's finally close to finished, I suppose.

You know, it's funny. When the show was still new, RTSes were still a thing and Jeremy was a Generals player. Now? RTSes are dead and it's all about DOTA. I wonder if they could have even updated that in the time that they were in production.

Would love for this to blow up and get big. Being 2004 I guess hey missed out on the Youtube generation. If it had been done a few years later I wonder if they would have blown up on there like so many Lets Play-ers did.

Their earlier episodes were so well done. World of Warcraft is a feeling hit the nail on the head for me and others who were at the time totally sucked into that game.

Donated $55 when the indiegogo was announced but we went almost a year without a proper update, In the end i'm happy its finally made.

looks pretty good and having the movie about coming back to own the pros is a much better concept than what the web series started moving towards.

I didn't watch this series often, but I loved the WoW episode in my early WoW days. My old guildmates and I still reference that song to this day.
