You know, gaf used to have a decent amount of normal, well intending people, and so many of them went over there just because the hoard went over there and they didn't want to feel left out, but I say if you participate in that forum even though you don't participate in these types of cancel rallies, you're no better because you're supporting that behavior. Sounds pretty dumb, doesn't it?

It's funny how they think they have any power. They try their shit with Cyberpunk, the game sold gangbusters. Same with Hogwarts. Same with the anti-woke stance from the Lords of the Fallen guys.

Also, didn't they try to cancel these guys before because they're a studio of all white people who made a game witb Asians or something like that?

Can you show me any therad here from gaf calling out for a game boycott? Maybe i missed it. Im sure you can find many individual comments saying fuck this person for this or for that or even saying fuck this game because of this person, but i never seen a thread on GAF trying to cancel a game for this. Also thers a slight difference when a dev goes out on twitter saying they hate gamers or white ppl and stuff like that, and a dev that just follows someone on social media you dont like.

In Reee, thats just a sunday afternoon behavior tho. What made me stop visiting that asylum was when they decided to shut any conversation related to Cyberpunk, unless you wanted to call the game transphobic and share some trans rights link or something, anything positive or demonstrantion of hype about the game would get you banned. Its specially ironic cuz to me Cyberpunk has the best trans character i have seen in a videogame.

Same here. I follow all kinds of people and my feed is full of opposing viewpoints. Too many people are stuck in echo chambers. You can get a better understanding of the world when you know what different people think.

Following someone isn't endorsement of everything they say. It's just being interested in hearing it. Condemning anyone for that is stupid.
