Q Entertainment CEO Shuji Utsumi has confirmed that the company has its eyes set on new markets. Talking to Mainichi Interactive, Utsumi said that his company will begin production of an online game aimed at audiences in China and Southeast Asia. Q is specifically targeting those regions because the population of online gamers there has grown substantially larger than the Japanese market. Unfortunatley, Utsumi did not reveal any details about the online game project, including its platform.

so long as it's being developed by Q, im extremely hyped for it.

Doesn't suprise me that they targetting southeast asia with an online title. Theres a HUGE market for that, and they're looking to take advantage of it like other smaller Korean outfits. If anything, I'm more than willing to bet this would be for the PC.

i dunno if i'd go as far as to say it looks like a joke, but based on the gameplay footage i've seen, it seems pretty clear that Mizuguchi's name is just being slapped onto the credits. the game obviously isn't up to his caliber of games.

do you honestly think anyone would care about a Dynasty Warriors clone if it wasn't for the fact that they're marketing it as a Mizuguchi game?

it's like how they're trying to market Lost Odyssey as a Mistwalker game, when in reality, it's an Artoon game being over seen by Sakaguchi.

For a supposed fan of Q Entertainment, I would think that one would wait until the game's out to declare a title trash, or somehow lesser than whateverthefuck. Additionally, if they are so great, why would they soil their names with merely sponsored titles that could negatively impact them? Face it, man. These people are putting their respective companies' names and their own on these titles...whether they do the main programming and production work or not. They lay claim to being the designers, writers, and chief artists on all of these titles. Let's just wait until they're out before jumping to very stupid conclusions.

FWIW, one of the big things Miz has been pushing about N3 is the script. We'll see how it turns out, but that could be one way to differentiate from Dynasty Warriors...
