dont know why you get the error but no you dont have to install it on c: (or whatever your system disk is)

i've changed the default location and installed to another disk just as you described.

EDIT: Deleting the already downloaded files and restarting the download solved it! Can be installed on any partition thankfully.

I got my PC code, but on redemption, it says "You are not logged in. Please log in before redeeming a token."
Despite me already being logged in.

EDIT: fixed it by redeeming it on firefox.
