Remember last December, or thereabouts, when Deep Discount DVD had that insane sale (20% off their already discounted prices), and many of the DVD collectors on GAF bought piles of discs? Is this something that they do on a regular basis, like once or twice a year, or was that sale a one-time thing? I'm getting the urge to buy some big ticket items (the Criterion Scenes From a Marriage has been calling my name for months now), but if there's a possibility that one of those sales is coming up in a few months, then I'll just make up a wish list and wait.

At least twice a year. I know they had one last June or around there too as I spent a fortune on that one. I'm not sure if they have a spring one, but I know they had at least two sales last year.

I'm still working on the stuff I bought from them in December, so I'm not in a hurry to start adding to my backlog again. It's worth a savings of several hundred dollars for me to wait until summer.
