As in, importing any natively Japanese system and playing it here in Canada. Is there anything extra you need (i.e. PAL -> NTSC signal converter)?

Just curious, since I'd never thought of this before but here of lots of ppl importing systems at launches.

Japan is NTSC.

Only Europe/Australia is PAL. I think checking your tv manual is the key, although with component signal I think PAL/NTSC differences do not matter anymore?

Ohhhhhh ok, that makes a lot more sense. I was under the impression only America was NTSC.
