Namco announced a bunch of games for PS3 at TGS. Including:
- New RPG (Probably another "Tales of")
- New Shooting Game (Ace Combat? Time Crisis?)
- New Sport Game (I love football X360 port?)
- New Fighting Game (Tekken)

they launched the PS3 site today http://namco-ch.net/list_game/list.php?hid=28

I was just wondering what the shooting game could be? How many shooting franchises does Namco have? Could it be Ace Combat PS3? Anyone have anymore info?

Doubt it's Ace Combat seeing as how they have a new AC title for the PS2 in the works now. Probally Time Crisis or Dead to Rights.

The shooter might even be a port of Frame City Killer.

01 Tales of Harmonia (multiplatform, this is also the tba 360 RPG)
02 Time Crisis 4 (with GunCon 3!)
03 Smash Court 4

Doubt it's Ace Combat seeing as how they have a new AC title for the PS2 in the works now. Probally Time Crisis or Dead to Rights.

Ace Combat Zero is just an add on IMO. I don't think it will bring anything new to the table and it won’t take much $$ or time to develop. The AC franchise is extremely popular (more popular than Dead to Rights, the last one bombed and time crisis) so I think it could be Ace Combat.

SC 4. Now that would be a game that could take HDR lighting and give it a whole new meaning. I can't wait to see those armors rendered with HDR to boot and some dynamic quasi ray traced reflections... mmmm. ooh and the sparks.

Its coming to PS3 but you have to be patient.

Ace Combat 6 is definetly in development.
I received a mail from Namco Hometek last month where they asked suggestions for Ace Combat next gen (PS3 was cited as example of next gen console).They even asked to agree to keep secret a few game concepts they have in mind for the game.
Anyway I don't think the shooting game is AC,probably something like Time Crisis (although I think this genre is dead) or something original.

Get it out early enough and it'll get some decent sales. But its a lightgun game so its not exactly expensive to make and wouldn't take a long development cycle like a AC game.
