Scorpion: Meh, menthols are a favorite with blacks. I don't know if it's a stereotype anymore since most blacks I know smoke menthols too. I smoked Parliament Lights or Marlboro Lights. I briefly went through a mentho phase with Marlboro Menthol Lights, until someone told me menthols fuck up your lungs worse. So I went back to regular lights before finally just quitting altogether. I have a random ciggy here or there if someone spots me, but I don't buy anymore. Last one I bought was probably last Fall when I ran out of weed one week. :lol Of the two, I'd rather have weed killing my lungs than tobacco. But shit, we're all gonna die someday. Smoke til you collapse. PEACE.

I have two questions, how many packs per day do you smoke? How much does each pack cost? I'm just curious about how much money you waste each year on smoking. I posed those questions to a couple of friends of mine (one of them always complained about being broke) and they both quit within the month because they finally realized there were much better things to spend that money on.

I can't give you any great suggestions, since I only smoke irregularly and when someone buys the cig for me, but I love self rolled cigarettes the most. They're much more potent for me, and it's sort of fun to roll the cigs yourself. I forget what brand of tobacco I put in though, I just remember it has an indian on the package and it's dark blue.
Winston Lights. I smoke 'em cause sometimes people won't bum them from me, those people being the casual smoker since it's very likely that they have only smoked Marlboros or Camels before and are only comfortable smoking those brands. Did you guys hear that living may cause death (thank you Boogie).

The funny thing is that clean, healthy living is no guarantee of longevity. Your healthy can can get hit by a soccer mom talking on her phone. Live your life, and don't sweat what others are doing with theirs. And if the second-hand smoke kills you, then tough shit. Car pollution is killing me too, but I'm not about to start badmouthing everyone who drives. I'll just hope they perfect the artificial lung by the time I need one. PEACE.

I dont smoke more than half a pack a day, and a pack usually costs around 5 dollars.
3 months ago I would have never even touched a cigarette, but then I started fucking up in college which led to being depressed all the time, and smoking is one of the few things that picks me up.

Are you me, because i smoke the exact same brands. Been a couple of weeks since i've had Sampoerna's, although i had some nice mint Nat Shermans a few days ago. Menthols are pretty nasty for me, eucalyptus is a more topical medicinal herb than spearmint or peppermint, which are traditionally taken internally.Macam said:

After picking up a pack of Basics, some of the cheapest smokes you can get at roughly a dollar and change a pack, i realized there was indeed a difference in taste and quality. Kamel Reds if I have the money..otherwise Marlboro Reds and Kools (I'd quit without variety). Cloves aren't sold around here, they're 2 hours away. But they're kinda fun to bum from the people that do go that far to get them.
I love Truth commercials, they remind me to have another. As to how much, depends on where I am. While working, it'd be maybe 6-7 a day. At home, it's anywhere from half a pack to a pack a day. Most cost about $3-3.50 average (except Kamel Reds..they go anywhere from $3.50-$4.50 a pack, and $27 a carton if I'm lucky, or $38 if I'm not. And no, I don't buy them when they are $38 a carton). When those Marlboro Menthol 72's were buy one, get one free, I'd grab those. Came to about $2 a pack then.

Smoking is a lifestyle choice, but when that choice endangers the people around them it's different than say... eating fast food. Unless you consider bad gas an endangerment.
