Quick dumb Amazon.com question

This probably didn't need its own thread, but I couldn't find a thread to properly post this in.

So I currently have Amazon prime, and my family has been using that as well. Which is fine, but I was just told by a family member that they want to order a Christmas gift for me using that. The issue being that the emails would obviously go to me, ruining the surprise. I can deal with the first order confirmation email by allowing access to my email right after ordering... but then there's the shipping confirmation, and I have no idea when that may pop up. So yeah, kind of a dumb problem, but it also feels silly that their response was that they'd have to get whatever they were thinking from somewhere else. I tried looking in settings but couldn't find an option for dealing with this...

So yeah, any ideas on a way around this, or is there nothing that can be done about it?

No, they cannot order you your christmas present on your amazon account without you knowing, sorry.

e: yeah, you can do a 30 day trial and cancel online without calling, but you do need to put in a CC #.

I was just informed that this was taken care of because they found a cheaper and better option elsewhere, apparently.

Thanks for the advice, though, guys!
