How do I add a value in front of all the values in a column?

I have a column of numbers and I want to append letters "AX-" in front of all the values in a column?

Not sure there's a quick way to do this.

Insert a column (A) before the column with the numbers (B). Type your text into column A. Save your workbook as a text file. Then open the file. Excel should go to the import wizard. From there you can select a fixed width, then move the column divider between A and B past B -- making A and B one column.

EDIT: When saving, make sure you choose "Formatted Text (space delimited)"

And when opening the text file, obviously you'll have to change the file type so you can see the text file. :p
