Sorry to hear this. Lost a pet this year, as well. Of course it was because my mom took it to the SPCA a month after I left, and then proceeded to pretend on the phone that it was still there. Luckily my borderline-daft sister-in-law ruined the facade. I hate you, mommy.

I had my hamster, the king of hamsters, for 3 years, died of cancer.

The guinea pig ive had since I moved back to WA. i feel bad that I wasnt able to give it vet care, which is why im not buying another pet till im more financially stable. This wont happen again.

Hammy: Yeah I buried my hamster, Guinea Pig isnt getting a buriel but he is getting a very nice throw he had grown attached to.

I didn't realize Mr. Angry Face had a guinea pig until he posted about it getting sick. It's a softer, more gentle side of the man that I never knew about. Sorry to hear about it.

Fair warning: when I get a pet (one of my 2005 resolutions), I'm gonna whore it out like the m0rphix of old on this forum. He may have been a little annoying, but those bunnies were the greatest.

I've lost plenty of pets over the years too. It sucks, but you always love the next one as much as the last.

Amazing how quickly you can get over it really. I guess you go into it (it being pet owning) knowing they have short lives, so you're sort of prepared.

I have lost several over the last 2 years. It is always tough.

We get ours cremated. That way we can take them with us when we move.

Forget mamals MAF arachnids is where its at they have such low metabolisms you only have to feed them a few times a year and they don't stink up the place also they live for years.

True. My ex just lost her dog. She was devestated as she and her mum had to order it be put down as it was in so much pain.

She's also a part time dog walker, so she's reminded every day. Poor dear. She's the real soft sensitive type too.
