I think part of it is what stage of their career they are in but I've had similar thoughts to what you're expressing. Rachel is young and still climbing to higher levels of fame. Same with David. People like that, at that stage of their lives/career, I'd be hesitant to marry. As their lives change and they age, they may want different things. You could say that about anyone, that is true, but I think these situations are heightened when you're in that sort of world. Rachel and David seem like earnest people. I hope their marriages work out.

Not trying to excuse actions such as cheating, they don't lose their self-control just because they're on their fertile period but lusting after some dude while they're ovulating is quite normal, then a week goes by and they could not give less of a fuck about that same dude, I've had quite a few girl friends admit it to me.
The thing for actresses is that they're always being followed by cameras so they can't really get a break, so whenever they lose focus shit like that gif is what happens.
