Holy crap!!

Yep, the launch was simply just too soon for a lot devs and that Activision bites the big one with what they tried to pull off with some of their next gen "efforts", "Just cleaner sharper current gen games and visuals at a $60!! Yay!!"

Apparently, Ubisoft isn't as worried about DR as you seem to be. SC:DA, GRAW, and now RS:V all in 2006. With $60 price tags and multi-system, multi-gen releases, they'll do just fine.

I still think the 360 was rushed to launch first, but there's no denying its power and its pure potential. If Ubisoft can do this in under a year of having final dev kits then there's no limit to what can be done later on. This looks unbelievable though!
 
Looks a bit like the PS3 shooter they showed at E3. What was it called... Killing Day?

I just hope they won't make the same mistakes they did in Lockdown.

Ubi-Soft is a huge premier developer, if THEY would be worried about DR then the entire industry would be FCK'd. But just because they're not worried about it doesn't mean that it's not true/doesn't exist. It's just a minor semantic point, geez.

I feel the same. Less is sometimes more.

I'd also like to see some iron sight aiming at least for the pistols. One of most common thing that happens in R6 is you empty your clip and you immediatley draw your pistol out. When this happens I'd really like a gritty realistic sense of firing your gun and moving. When you move is shouldn't be smooth animation (think portable camera footage) and when you fire your pistol the screen should really jerk violently with the recoil.

Yeah that would rock! The only HUD indicators displayed on the screen should be the Health and Bullet indicators. And I hope the buddy AI is fully self sufficient, I don't wanna tell them "HEY idiot! Go there or attack that bastard" I just wanna kill people :(

But damn Ubi is rocking!! This looks AAA!
 
And to look how much ammo/clips you have a nifty button with a smooth/sweet animation to manually count how many bullets are left in the clip :p

Damn that would be sweet. Doubt it would work with the hetic pace the Rainbow series has taken on.

It's like that in Condemned and it works really well. You press reload and it shows you your bullets, and that's the only way to know how many you have.

Why even have bullet indicators? Translucent gun clips exist for a reason. If you wan't to check how many rounds are left in a clip, have a button that tiltls the gun on its side and shows the side of clip.

That's cool! But counting bullets is stupid and it will slow the game down.

It's not about "counting" bullets, but just to have a quick look and get the approx. number of bullets remaining. As with a real gun. I don't think soldiers actually take the time to "count" their bullets when they're on a battlefield. It works in King Kong, why not in R6 ?
