She was very obviously targeted because of her race. If you bombard people with 'white = evil' mainstream media for a decade, it is not too surprising that it will manifest in this way. It is all but giving a permission slip to do it.

The races of assailant and victim are also why the media had to be dragged kicking and screaming into covering it. If the races had been reversed, with the killer saying "I got that black girl", it would of course be treated as a hate crime and it would have immediately dominated the news cycle across the West.

God willing the federal government will bring hate crime charges, with the appropriate sentence.

He did say "I got that white girl" after killing her, race seemed to matter with him. He clearly has mental issues. I didn't say it was racist I said weak DAs and the judges and officials around them are creating the problems. You made it about race. I didn't even mention race. You seem obsessed with it though.

Its more than mental issues, its a culture thing. I worked in bars and after fights, there was a certain group always talking about race more than anyone other group to the point it was disturbing. 8 years experience in different bars and regions and it was the same group. "Got that ________ mfer." Over and over and over. I can only remember one occasion where another group used a slur or made it about race. One time.

Also, people of that same group that I've known, many target only individuals that don't look like them. "You good to walk home if I drop you off here?"

"Yeah, but you can't go any further, they'll kill you."

So yeah, its a known thing within their culture and they don't talk about to the rest of us.

It could have been as simple as him smelling pizza and it pissed him off. He was a homeless man who endured the pizza smell for four minutes before he couldn't take it anymore.

That shouldn't be that funny given what happened but daggonit! I chuckled!

I don't know how to reply to this and I've debated on how and what to say but .... I'll give it more time when my head is clearer. Too much on my mind right now.
