Sorry to keep ranting about work related stuff, but they're getting on my nerves and I have no idea how to politely tell them to sod off. I finished yesterday for the weekend and they kept asking me to do stuff after I finished yesterday. I've just received another message asking me to do something else. I don't care how little it takes. It's nearly 10pm on Saturday night. Ugh.

Some might already know this, but his nickname Baba Yaga is a mistranslation. in the film they say it means boogeyman, but it's actually a witch in slavic folklore.
In the german dub however they apparently had someone who's familiar with slavic folklore work on the dub's script, who noticed the error, and actually corrected it.
so in the German dub he is correctly referred to as Babaj, which is the actual slavic equivalent of the boogeyman.
however, they eventually gave up due to the mainstream popularity of the baba yaga nickname, and just also called him that in the german dub starting with the third film I think, as it became part of pop culture.
I'm kinda sad they did, they should have stuck with it to have consistency.

To be perfectly honest, I also rejected a lot of job offers.
99% of employers rub me the wrong way. When I look these people in their eyes, I see dollar signs.

I was listening to a Rodney Mullen TED talk where he touches on the subject. This was held on a college campus and he was invited to adress the students there and share his own personal beliefs etc. For the record, Mullen is one of my heroes in life.
But anyway.
There were people in that audience who had extreme tunnel vision. And this vision was their version of their own future and they vehemently believed that everyone should experience it.
I call them Zuckercunts and they should all fucking die in a train crash.

It's a cozy show. I love the shroom episode. The show forces me to cook noodles before each episode as they make me hungry.
I wish we would be more a technologically balanced society. That people weren't as glued to their screens and the internet. It would probably be a more social and relaxed society.
