they have some platform elements, but the most prominent theme in the R&C series is to 'blow shit up'

this game looks like it's all blowing shit up though, hence the new title and style

Played it at E3. It was sort of...meh. Basically we played 4 on 4 capture the flag.

It should be, R&C3:Up Your Arsenal had no problem running in 480P.

I agree but what really ticks me off about this game is that Insomniac has completely abondoned any platforming whatsoever and turned it into a generic shooter. They completely covered up Ratchet so that we can't see him at all and they relegated Clank to a radio support role.

Well, this is a different style of game. It's multiplay focused. I don't see anything wrong with that (hi Crash Team Racing).
