Still stupid how they're handling the preorder bonuses on this game.
Origins Collection will be offered as a 'soft' bundle on Steam starting Jan. 19th. Purchasing the OC package will simply add RE1HD and RE0HD as separate apps on your library list; in other words, there isn't a separate entry for Origins Collection within the Steam library list.
With that said, you technically can pre-purchase OC by getting RE1HD today (and start playing it right away) and pre-purchase RE0HD separately
We will also pre-load RE0 closer to the release date.

A Capcom guy actually said this was handled. 'course he was talking about Steam specifically. Don't know if it's safe to draw conclusions about the console versions.
So that basically confirms Capcom completed the HD port?
Interesting, the pre-rendered backgrounds in Zero HD look pretty great.
Looks good but everyone here seems to say it's not a good game? I never played it so couldn't tell you.
The entire Bravo Team is dicking around in Birkin's lab?! How could they possibly get here before Rebecca. She rode a fucking speeding train for half a hour. We're back in Raccoon City. Bravo Team walked to fucking Raccoon City, in a forest full of monsters and made it here before Rebecca... Did not a single person on this development team. One tasked to make a proper prequel for Resident Evil 1, not go 'hey...this is totally fucked. We should really try to explain this.'
We are back at the train wreckage in the basement of the Training Facility... Which means the training facility is apparently built right on top of the warehouse to Birkin's lab and is, in turn, right on the outskirts of Raccoon City. Except, we rode a cable car, underground again, mind you, from this facility to the same point as the elevator we just got off of.
Rebecca sucks.
I hate Rebecca!!!
