RE4 Round 2 or TWW

Hey, I'm new to these boards, but I really like them so far. I'm looking for some advice as what to play next. I just beat RE4 about a week ago, and I am wondering if I should go for a second run through of the game and get the super weapons or should I play The Wind Waker for the first time. Thanks.
 
Do both at once. If you get bored with one, play the other for a bit, then go back. :D
 
Play through TWW.
Then play through RE4 again.
Then play through TWW with
Link's Lobster Clothes
Then buy the new Zelda.
 
Do TWW if you wanna prep for the next Zelda game, but since I'm currently going through RE4 right now, DO THAT AGAIN. DO IT.

Yeah, you should give Wind Waker a try at least, to see if you like it even.


But if you feel let down, simply pop in RE4 to remind you how much of a better game it is!

BUT THEN AGAIN RE4 HAS BITS OF ZELDA IN IT RIGHT OLIMARIO??? SO ITS LIKE THE SAME GAME!!!

Then play through Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat about 10 times

THEN buy the new Zelda.

I like this model. I think this is what I'll go with. How long should I expect TWW to take me to beat anyway?

You will give up game at the triforce hunt so I'd say you get a playtime around 15h.

TWW is anywhere from 15 hours and beyond. There's a bunch of little stuff you can do that's optional and you might get sidetracked like I did. The ending is pretty damn good, and I suggest you "suffer" through the game just to get there.

which star fox are you talking about?
 
Resident Evil 4 all the way, it's so much better than WW.

Never did I think I'd recommend a RE game over a Zelda title but in the case, RE4 is just amazing all around whereas TWW felt rushed.

Triforce quest (which isn't a straight collectathon) and sailing kill it for teh hatorz.

The sailing...my god, the sailing.
 
Sailing around was the best part of WW IMO.

sorryaboutdresden: Why did you make this topic? Can you honestly not decide what to do? Do you want to play through RE4 again? Then do it. Would you rather give RE4 a break and play something new? Then play WW. It's not rocket science.

Two things. After a part in the game called "The Tower of the Gods", make sure you goto the largest cyclone you can find and shoot the shit out of the person at the center of it. This will save you time getting about the world map. Sailing point nixed.

Secondly, when this fabled 'triforce hunt' begins, go into your map, press Y and open Tingles INcredible Chart. You'll see this reveals where the Triforce maps are. Press Y again. Those locations should now be on your main map too. At each of these locations you locate a map, which will lead you to an area where you can fish a Triforce piece from the sea bed. The only one you might have a problem with is the one related to the Ghost Ship. There's a Ghost Ship that travels the seas and appears at different locations depending on the cycle of the moon. If you go to Diamond Steppe Isle (Far left, second from bottom on map), and search there thoroughly you will find a Ghost Chart telling you were you can find it. If you really think a little searching will bother you, then use a guide. IGNs is good. There's a seperate piece for the Triforce search. I didn't need a guide and it only took me half an hour.

It's not the best Zelda game ever, but it's one of the best looking, well-animated ones. It runs at a fair clock with beautiful animation. There are some good bosses, and great moments in this game. You owe it to yourself to see all of it in my opinion. The end battle, though not the most difficult thing in the world, is one of the most satisfying.

If you have played and not liked any previous Zeldas, you'll dislike this too.
