Reacher Season 3 trailer

Incredible fight scene 🎬

Had to tolerate some of the stories components (father/son thing, girl hostage) and the main bad guy doesn't pass off as a villain, nothing bad otherwise, there's tons of action in there and they allow Reacher to be a crazy mother fucker.

I loved this season. Good chemistry and action throughout. Really enjoyed seeing Anthony Michael Hall in this too. Wondering how much more juice is Richson going to take for season 4?

Finale was good to me.

Just realized how big Paulie was to Reacher. He finally had someone BIGGER than him!
They set that up well. Right off the bat you knew that guy was going to be the mini-boss and it didn't disappoint. It reminded me of when The Punisher fought the Russian/Kevin Nash in the 2004 Punisher movie.

I just spent the whole season waiting for fights that barely happened because I thought the story and most of the supporting characters were shit.

The entire premise of Quinn kidnapping some random not that hot girl and keeping her hostage for weeks to offer up to his boss to fuck her at a party is just so idiotic.

Agreed, even if she was a redhead :P

I wonder if the book was just a couple days at most.

And Reacher was soooooo open about who he was. "Yeah, I was an MP in the Army."

"Huh, so can we at least see your DD214?"

"Uh, ok."

"Holy SHIT! You can an Honorable Discharge and have 300 commendations! Maybe we shouldn't let you all the way into our criminal gang? Sure, you say you killed a cop but the local paper says NOTHING about 2 guys getting merked in downtown sleepyville."

Holy shit this season is bad. It's not as bad as Season 2, yes, but honestly not by very much.

I hate how much these writers suck, Reacher is such a fun premise and S1 showed how great it could work. I was hoping they learned their lesson with S2, but they're instead very much doubling down on the girlboss stuff and all the other virtue signaling shit. Also, obviously it's not only the virtue signaling that is the problem, as always the problem is that writers who are retarded enough to go down this road are also retarded enough to make other bad writing choices, of which there are plenty in S3.

In a way, I'm glad I waited to watch this, because if I had watched this airing I would've 100% dropped this after Ep4 (rightfully so) and then maybe had some kind of misconstrued hope for this to get better. It doesn't.

S1 was easy 8/10, S2 was like 2/10, this is maybe a 3/10.

I will watch the finale tomorrow, but I'm truly glad I'm not watching this on any Amazon platform. That would actually be a deal breaker for me, I don't wanna count into the "minutes watched" stuff for them.

I know people like to make fun of the Jack Ryan show (rightfully so), but that show actually kinda worked. Sure it's camp and shit, but at least they know their audience and respect what they're tuning in for. Reacher could've been that, instead it's trying to be Emily in Paris.
A guy I knew very well from childhood was in Prime's Jack Ryan series as Matice. I wanted to see the show but fuck that guy. He verbally abused and got physical with a girl at the church we went to as kids. She told me at our reunion decades later - such a kind person. Yea, maybe he's on SSRIs now, and good for him if so, but he owes debts.

Yeah just real dumb shit. If that dude was basically being held hostage himself by Quinn why are they even letting him have his own muscle in the first place? It was all just done to setup the story of "he's not the real boss" but then once you learn that, nothing makes any sense.

And then after learning they had not ONE but TWO moles in that house they just go right ahead with having their huge crime meeting there at some dumb party lol

The ONLY good thing about the season was the final fight which was expertly directed imo, everything else was generic and soulless. Reacher since season 2 doesn't even feel like Reacher, in the first season he had a presence, beds squeaked when he got out of them, he was towering over people and so on, all this suddenly disappeared, was it the result of incompetence from new people amazon hired or some weirdo consultancy firm on how to make Amazon shows more compatible with "modern audiences"? I need to know wtf happened to this show

This season started quite promising, but later on the quality dropped and the episodes were uneven. The finale had a few cool action scenes (not disappointed with the giants fighting), but it was quite forgettable overall. And I never ended up liking the bossy government lady.

It also felt pretty strange how Reacher didn't have a problem murdering a few (unarmed) people in cold blood this season, even if they were technically the baddies. But maybe that's just me and the fact that I didn't read any of the books.

This season was really good. Better than season 2 but not as good as season 1. Reacher steals the show and all others are kinda mid.

I actually thought it was average maybe even bad?
It started off interesting but just didn't wow me.

The DEA woman was super annoying and her and reachers sex just felt forced, they had no chemistry whatsoever. I know the shows supposed to show how much of a chad he is and women throw themselves at him but still .

Season 2 imo was better. Had an interesting conspiracy going on at least.

I enjoyed it, wish Paulie got his own spinoff, I'd watch that! No interest in a neagley spinoff.

Paulie wasn't a good guy. Reacher is. I'd watch a Neaghley spin-off just for her detective skills. She's just as good as Reacher at that. She isn't as physical but she gets the job done.

The (well, my) problem with Neaghley is that she is as good as, if not better, than Reacher in "detective stuff", plus she is apparently a crack shot, awesome at martial arts, and in general is just a female version of Reacher except she apparently gives fuck all about helping folks. So when Reacher keeps using her to bail him out of a jam it's kinda like we are watching a show about Robin (on steroids) who is always calling up a really really lazy Batman who just can't be arsed to give a fuck about helping folks anymore :P

They should nerf her in more, or any, aspects to show why she isn't the hero of this story with Reacher just being her muscle.

Paulie not being good would make his redemption arc a lot of fun to follow. Neagley just isn't interesting as a character IMO.
