So the time's come to build a christmas wish list to give the wife. RPGs are my fave genre, however I do enjoy other genres (ixnay on the GTA) and I want to keep things mainly cheap-ish (let's set a cap of about $30). Also should Dark Cloud 2 and Breath of Fire V make the list? Come GAFFers help a brudda out.

Just spring the $50 for Dragon Quest VIII. It's the best RPG of the year and it'll keep you busy for such a long time. Well worth the full amount.

Radiata Stories is great deal for $40

I agree with AniHawk about DQ8... fantastic game and worth every cent

You can get Shadow Hearts:Covenant for $20, and that's a good game.

How about Tsugunai:Atonement for $10? I never played it but I saw a copy at a local EBGames...
