Last anime I watched and enjoyed immensely was Attack on Titan, but I haven't followed much else at all in a long time.

I'm looking for recommendations based on extreme, over-the-top whackiness, gore and downright insanity. Been a while since I've watched something like that. Gantz is an example of what I'm looking for.

Also, it'll be a plus if the story is good.
