i've been begging for over 5 years.
Wha...what???? Haha a reservation for Red Lobster? Where do you live?

Yeah, it and all the franchise eat in's like Olive Garden, TGI Fridays, ect.. are all packed every night of the week here in suburbia. Call ahead or sit in a cramped waiting area by the door for an hour plus.

Yeah, sounds about right. Welcome to the suburbs. Sure everything needs to be driven to, and there's nothing but chain restaurants, and there's nothing to do after 10pm, but at least there's less crime! So boring...

I've never once eaten at Red Lobster.
I actually went for the first time with a friend about four months ago as a gag and enjoyed it. It's no Le Bernadin, let's be frank, but I don't think you can go quite as cheap on, say, mahi mahi as you can on everything that Olive Garden can go incredibly cheap on. I found it enjoyable honestly.

It was also PACKED and we waited 35 minutes to get in. But I'm in a major metropolitan area and I would imagine it's in the rural areas where people have stopped dining out.

If shrimp prices are to blame, maybe they should stop including shrimp with every fucking dish. I'm allergic to shrimp, and when I go to Red Lobster there are like 3 things on the menu I can order. But, as already posted, with the Red Lobster biscuit mix that you can buy at Wal-Mart, there is really no need to eat at the restaurant anymore anyway.

Red Lobster's overall quality was going way down while the rest of Darden's franchises have either remained consistent (Olive Garden and Seasons 52) or getting better (Longhorn). Plus, when you try new Darden properties like Eddie V's, Red Lobster looks even more like a joke.

Eddie V's crazy fucking good Kung Pao Calamari:

The real tragedy of this sale is any poor holder of a Red Lobster giftcard - that person may not be able to just use it to get a steak from Longhorn instead anymore.

Always have a couple boxes of cheddar biscuits in the pantry. Might catch the endless shrimp promo every once in awhile but no need for Red Lobster anymore really.

The one in my small town seems like it isn't doing much business. They've always had competition with the Applebee's across the way but now that we have a Olive Garden it seems to be worse.

And Texas Roadhouse just destroys all. That place is always full.
But I don't go there for the seafood.
Yeah, neither do I. I like the chicken strips.

So had I owned 5% of a single average Red Lobster, I'd now have 1.5 million dollars?
