REMAKE SSX 3 COWARDS

Begging for remakes/remasters is so fucking tiresome
To be fair in the cases of Tony Hawk and SSX, it's a genre that has COMPLETELY dissapeared, there's no equivalent, at all, and I really miss them. I'm glad we're getting Tony Hawk remade, and I would love to see anything SSX again (I'd prefer new games over remakes though, IF they are as good).

Was this thread made by AI?
No, it was made by a guy who larps as a constant drunk guy, kind of like Critical Drinker.

You don't have to worry much about this when it comes to EA. They don't believe in game preservation at all and have abandoned 99% of their older titles. Consider things like Dead Space Remake and Mass Effect Remaster as a literal fluke.

I get it. But at this point, let's be honest, everyone wants their favorite games to be remade or remastered. Its not some unique or special take anymore; it's practically the default reaction anytime people talk about older games

The constant demands are getting tired, like a broken record playing in almost every thread.

Got all of the SSX games on my retro machine, SSX1 is a bit rough but all in all it's a super fun series. Would prefer a new entry myself, but knowing EA they would shittify it with required online and a metric ton of mtx. So better to just keep it dead.

yes its true its all true my friends sad for gaming buuuuuut still indie mario kart and some stuffs

Ohh, looks fun. Thanks for the heads up, definitely going to keep an eye in this one.
My understanding is it has was only been the initial release from Nov 2024. We'll see what's included in this upcoming update.

There's always a risk with early access that a game just gets dropped and is never updated. But it only take a few hours to get $7.99 of fun out of it.

If it does complete, it's supposed to have online multiplayer and Steam Workshop support. Hopefully that happens, one click installs for new characters, music, and tracks would let the community keep this going for years to come.

Ssx tricky, ssx3, nba street 2 +3, def jam vendetta and New York time splitters 2 , burnout some of the best times in gaming, playing these games you thought what the future would bring and look what we get now, so glad I got my retro consoles, still play these 20+ yr old machines more then my ps5

EA Big was really great. SSX, NBA Street, Def Jam were some of the most fun I had during the 6th generation. Those games were just cool in every respect, and they were always the discs that went into the console when friends were over.

Agree with OP, agree with the poster that liked Tricky also.
EA should resurrect EA BIG, period. NBA Street Vol. 2 ruled, also.
Also wouldn't mind a new 1080 Snowboarding.

I'm no coward - I'm doing it right now. I don't have any of the rights, and can only program in basic but it is getting close.

Ironically it turns out someone remade Horace Goes Skiing and released it on steam.

Wishlisted. Not anything like SSX but if you want a modern snowboarding game, Shredders is great.

That looks like it leans way to heavily towards realism versus the arcade game play of SSX.

I know we're supposed to hate everything Ubisoft, but if you want a modern just screw around snowboarding game that's out now, Rider's Republic is just fun to mess around in, you have Snowboard, Skis, BMX, Skateboards, hoverboards, wingsuits and a big open world to mess around in. But the game still doesn't scratch the SSX itch, I'm hoping Tricky Madness can pull that off.

Early access but made by an SSX fan. Next update will supposedly release in two weeks.

Wtf how did I never hear about this before. Going to keep a look on that, thanks for sharing!

I tried Rider's Republic and I found it very boring, because I find the gameplay quite atrocious. It feels too heavy with a HUGE input lag, it just really doesn't feel good to play for me, and the button layout for the tricks etc also felt really bad to me, like you couldn't just jump and spin on the right or left, it would automatically try to do some kind of backflip etc, it was just really strange, it felt too automated in a very weird way. I tried the other control layouts but they didn't make it much better.
