If only.
Darkseed is a must! The first game I ever played that gave me a nightmare.
If only.
Sadly not, I think they're on abadonware though. It plays great on the DeckFuck me, Darkseed. Is that on GOG at all? Dark seed games were fucking amazing. Just up res them.
I still have my disc copy. I beat it maybe 10 years ago and just haven't been able to return. A remaster would fix that.Sadly not, I think they're on abadonware though. It plays great on the Deck
Aye, I never beat it. It utterly thrashed me back thenI still have my disc copy. I beat it maybe 10 years ago and just haven't been able to return. A remaster would fix that.
I'm not tired at all! More often than not, remake of a great game > new gameEveryone is a little tired of the remakes and remasters. It’s lazy.
If I was forced to pick one it would be Vagrant Story, since it would work well in 2025. I still prefer new games.
I just looked this up. Incredible looking.Aye, I never beat it. It utterly thrashed me back then
Another remake I wouldnt mind happening is Dreamweb. Still got my big box and Diary of a madman for that too
You should give it a go if you can.. find itI just looked this up. Incredible looking.
Legend of Mana should have been done the same way.I would like Trials of Mana type remakes of Phantasy Star, Dragon Quest V, Final Fantasy VI, and Chrono Trigger.
Here's a question for you retro people. I wanted to post a game I wanted remade but the name eludes me so couldnt post it, its been bugging me for ages. It was a 3rd person Dos game, the people looked a bit like bubbles (It was early 3d), you had a sword..
I think on the front of the big box was a man holding a woman's hand, with a wolf type creature in the background, teeth showing..
Encarta?
Enchanted?
Enshrouded?
i dont know. I dont even think it was that popular, but it was brilliant
One of the first Dos games I played (I was an Amiga lad..)
Really want to know the name of it
Holy shit! Yes!!
Click the Moby Games link and that's the other art I found.Holy shit! Yes!!
Been looking for it for quite a while! Nice one mate
I'd love a remake of that.
(Don't know where I got the man holding a woman's hand from..)

We did get some indies, but nothing AAA. I doubt we will ever get a road rash 3d with licensed rock music, for one EA hates single player, EA hates Road Rash, EA hates, Rock and metal in racing games, EA would call it toxic masculinity having aggressive motorcyclists.I would love to see Road Rash re-imagined as a colourful Sega style super scaler.
I expect Super scaling to be the next hip take on classic games by indies. There's just a few of them, like Missile Dancer 2 & the upcoming Victory Heat Rally.
They already did that. It's called Ocarina of Time.I would love to see a remake of The Legend Zelda: A Link To The Past. Make it a full 3D Zelda game using today's modern tech. I think it could be amazing.
