They went and made it seem like a completely free program but then all of the sudden I get this "your 30 day trial is up" crap. If they would have been honest to begin with I may have bought it, but this is a classic bait n switch deception and I won't support that. However, now that I've started using Maxthon I'd like some sort of ad removal program, any suggestions?

It has a little bit of a learning curve, but that's just customization so when you get good at it everything is very clean and straightforward, so there's a lot less filler and it's shorter than you get with most others but it's exactly what you like.

Just pay for AdMuncher. I've used it for nearly three years now on multiple PCs and can assure you it's completely worth it. Plus AdMuncher blocks ads in everything, it's not just limited to a particular browser.

Upon your acceptance of this Licence Agreement the Licensor grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited licence to install and use a copy of Ad Muncher for a period of 30 days. Should the user wish to continue using Ad Muncher after 30 days, they will need to register their copy.

but yeah, it's a great program and well worth it. Just keep the registration code safe so you can re-register whenever you need to.
