Today I converted my virgin, untouched 1.00 PSP, long the home of homebrew and the bane of legitimate UMDs, to 2.00. I thought my plan was perfect -- I'd use my 1.50 US system to do anything that required UMDs, and keep the 1.00 for homebrew only.
But then came Advent Children, a movie that required a 2.00 upgrade before it would play. And charged, as I am, with reviewing the UMD for Wired, I had to play it somehow. So did I move my homebrew to the 1.50 and use the KXploit for the first time.
I bristle at its inefficiency and creation of Corrupted Data fields on my once-pristine menu bar.
But Sam and Max works, and so does Advent Children. Which I guess is adequate compromise.
Still, though.
Requiem aeternam dona eis, Domine, et lux perpetua luceat eis. Te decet hymnus Deus, in Sion, et tibi reddetur votum in Tokyo. Exaudi orationem meam; ad te omnis caro veniet.
