The idea that gaf is somehow trying to "hide" this is crazy. Evilore wrote a big ass post about the situation. Nobody has ever defended him and posters talk about what a creep he is all the time. Including this thread.

I will never stop finding hilarious how all the things that right-leaning people say about liberals eventually end up being projections of themselves. Still, they'll never have the insight to realize that.
Avatars disappearing is a glitch. It can happen if your perma-banned, or if you're temp-banned. I remember people also used to speculate that having no contact information meant that it was a perma-ban, but that's not true either.
There's really no way to tell the length of someone's ban, not unless the banned person shows a screenshot of their ban message (which Amir0x can't do from prison), or if you're really lucky a mod might tell you. EviLore told us. Amir0x's ban is a hard permaban. Nobody ever liked that piece of shit (I particularly remember the time when he popped into Ponygaf to suggest that a depressed person should kill themselves, because they were a Brony, and being an Amir0x was superior to being a Brony), which is why everyone knows his name. Getting arrested for child porn was his final straw.
The only way Amir0x is coming back is by using the usual ban avoidance technique, using an alternate account. If he doesn't have some spare accounts set up for his return, (or if some motivated mods have already found and squashed them), then if he wants to come back he's going to have to apply for a new Internet Service Provider when he gets out of prison (if he gets out of prison), and then try to slip back into Neogaf anonymously on the ground floor as some annoying new junior. It's unthinkable that anyone would ever let Amir0x back in under his old name, as he's pretty easily the most infamous character in this forum's history.

I can't imagine that probation or parole is going to let him anywhere near an internet connected computer for years, in prison or once he gets out. Assuming he is convicted, heh.

But this community is gigantic, so there's bound to be some sick individuals here. I'm sure we probably have a few pyromaniacs and cannibals here too lurking beneath the surface. It's just always a bit surprising one it happens to be one of the prominent members.
As for Trump's voter fraud commission if all it ends up dong is exposing its own members running the commission of various crimes, then I'm okay with that.
