Looks like someone, who said that peoples should know different between fictional pedo and actual pedo, was just banned. I can't identify or comprehend his post well enough, but it looked like he agreed that actual pedo was universally considered bad.

Okay, so have your witch hunt and expose the discord chat to public outrage and shame. Now they'll find an even more secluded place for these kind of talks and only hold them with people they are certain have the same views. Now having no outside influence and feeling mutually dejected, they will find reasons to validate themselves and stir negative sentiment toward anyone who denies their views. They will become less open to having their minds changed by considering more factors to internally moderate themselves against their base impulses and more inclined toward allowing those base impulses to inform and define their accepted personal moral standards. If you truly believe in something, focus on advocating and cultivating it, not on your disgust for the opposite.

To be frank, few if any in this thread care much about the issue to any major degree. They just want to see Era burn and hope some scandal, be it this or a future one, leads or a mass exodus like what happened here in late 2017.

I can’t stand that community and requested account deletion over there the other day. But I couldn’t care less if it falls apart or not. It’s a laughing stock with none of the influence they think they have and a site I’ll never look at again. If anything I’d rather it stay around and keep the crazies in the looney bin where they belong vs having them fan out to sites like this or subreddits I read.

Drama between online communities just seems absurd to me beyond getting some chuckles out of threads like this at how seriously many take it.

These posts are the worst. The aim is clear, to get the people discussing it to say yes we're better than this and stop. Therefore the topic drops off.
