RESIDENT EVIL MARCENARIESE VS.

ULTROS!

People seem to like me because I am polite and I am rarely late. I like to eat ice cream and I really enjoy a nice pair of slacks.

Capcom is definitely on a roll.

Yes, what is?

Oh "RESIDENT EVIL MARCENARIESE VS. will only run on iPhone 3GS,iPhone 4,iPodTouch 3rd and 4th Generation ,iPad."

...

Not sure what's worse, the error or the fact that there's another version of Mercenaries being released

holy fucking shit. Isn't it time to fire some people? fucking capcom.

the best part of this thread is that people are unsure if the outrage is over the badly translated text or the fact that it's mercs on ios.

I think they are doing it on purpose now. They get a ton of attention on their games.

Mercs again? Ugh, at least it will be cheap on iOS for those that want it.

"Holds 'Magnum', with little ammo chargeable but with massive destructiveness, wide-ranged 'Shotgun(Hydra)', and mine 'Proximity Bomb' as standard equipments."

I'm loving this.

Look how often they've misspelled it. If they misspell shit once i think we can all look away but 5 mistakes on 1 page?! give me a fucking break.

This company is such a fucking joke now.

Has to be someone important's illiterate cousin working in the print department. Only explanation at this point.
Honestly, it's kinda sad this shit is happening while there are enough quality jpn to eng translators without a job.

edit: wait checking the Japanese site

Pretty sure the inhouse translators are simply trolls at this point.

Protip: this game came out a year ago, it's not new.
Right, but when it comes to 'Capcpom' or the misspelling of Revelations, this one kinda slipped under the radar.

Edit: Noticed it after hitting 'product support' in iTunes while looking at MvC2 and was taken to this page where it is spelled wrong: http://game.capcom.jp/iphone/portal_en/

Just now noticed this:
Play as Phoenix Wright, the rookie denfense lawyer new to the scene with the wildest cross-examination skills in town.

Edit 2: And holy shit! I know it is the .jp site but it is where the English iTunes directs you. Right underneath Pheonix Wright is their collection of Capcom Arcade games, titled Capcom Arace.

I was missing the days of terrible Engrish in games what with all the improvements in localisation we've seen over the years. I'm glad Capcom is keeping the dream alive.
