For a moment, I thought this was a Frequency/Amplitude sequel from Harmonix...and that they surprisingly had switched from PS2 to Xbox. I guess not. :P

When is this due out? These current screens lack lots of enemies or many obviously interactive elements, but if it's early, I could see potential. I'm a total sucker for games that go the whole faux-Victorian/Euro medieval route. I know, shocking.

EDIT: From reading up, I see this is supposed to be during the Inquisition. Those city screens scream Victorian, though.

At least if it's using Morrowind's engine there's a chance it'll have a large, open world without load times every two minutes.

I'm getting an Enclave and Draconus Kult of the Wyrm vibe. For that reason I feel good about this game cause I loved both those games alot.

Hope this game turns out well, the visuals look decent for Xbox thus far.

I kinda like the look of this, I can't explain it, but it looks fun. I feel compelled to play the game and walk around in those areas.

Typical western game.

I think you hit the nail on the head. Where the Japanese have their typical fae chibi candy colored bullshit games that come out every week, we get this as our equivalent

I checked it out at IGN. This game is being made for both the Xbox and PS2,could be made on an engine that suits both systems so maybe thats why it doesn't look so hot? Also the fact that all they've shown is a foggy stage setting isn't saying much for the game,I'd like to see some of the more expansive areas where the sun is actually out, and theres some terraine to explore. Something where more textures arecalled into play.

Theres a video of the gameat at IGN,its April of 2004 I believe. Everything looks rough, like it still needs alot of time in the labs. Could be good if they patch it up. Like one of the posters above mentioned-it looks like fun. I'm a sucker for these types of games. Open areas, exploring, weapon based action,I love that type of play myself.

MidEvil art is ok by me. Just as long as they touch up the color palette abit more. Browns and greens add to the effect to a mid evil setting anyways, but still I'd like a more diverse variety of textures in other areas of the game as well.

I've seen these types of games before. Draconus got ripped by the media and it was one of my favorite DreamCasts games. Same goes with Enclave. Its a part of my Xbox collection that I'l never let go of.
